Brittain Wynyard have admitted this skirted trolling lure was a fortunate mistake! Although a different lure to the one they envisaged, it has already proven deadly on all species of marlin as well as the odd large tuna, almost certainly as a result of the splash and bubble produced by the steeply angled head, as well as the colour combination of the skirt (BW1R): it looks just like an excited squid. Hand-made in South Africa, each lure is beautifully made, sporting the clearest of resin-heads that cover brightly coloured inserts with plenty of fish-attracting flash.
