Top Catch in expansion mode

With a new owner and several new outlets on board, Top Catch is in expansion mode.

Focussing solely on fishing, including tackle and bait sales, there are now 16 outlets, mainly in the upper North Island.

But watch this space, that may not be the case for long.

General manager Chris O’Neill and owner Igor Ivanov say the range has been refined and will be more specific and relevant to the region each store serves.

“We are currently upgrading our point of sale and ordering systems in anticipation of more stores coming on board in 2020,” they say.

“Our sole focus is fishing and our staff with their sound knowledge of the angling opportunities in each area are an important part of that.”

The stores themselves will get a re-vamp and they are investigating opportunities to bring new locations on board. Pukekohe, Maraetai and Beachlands are the most recent outlets to carry the Top Catch range.

Bait is still a big part of the operation and it will be sold in new packaging early this year.
