Wait what? Topcatch or Burnsco is bad? I live at bucklands beach and halfmoon bay, the marina there has Burnsco and Topcatch, They give good advice, Why are they bad? should I still ask them for advice? what about the lures and baits? At my local flea market, 2 whole mullet cost $10, Its not the freshest and best eaten immediately.

I know what you mean about the poor quality of frozen mullet bait. I got sick of it and now just buy fresh the day before from Pack n Save or Scott's seafood. Being food grade so always in great condition. I catch my own to when I can but the commercial guys have set real long nets out there and wiped them out from the area where I set my net. Paying about $18.00 for two mullet from the shop I go to which is a good price compared to about $25.00 from a gas station. 

Had my net set for 3 days and got nothing.

We have been buying salted/oil flat packs,cost more but worth it.


Been getting it from one of the shops in Rosebank road Avondale. Probably can't name them or thjey might pull the post and I wanted to put the word out to save other guys some of their hard earned $ .  

The other stuff they sell is ok just the mullet that aint so good. Thanks for the heads up on the other suppliers.
