another great day , good to see some new faces and a couple of new records for the ladys section, once again big thumbs up to Jock well run and organised event, the BBQ  was going most of the day with hot food and drinks so thanks to the Spackys of Spackmans Services and Repairs in Feilding.

Come on guys come along, Open to every one will be good way to hone your casting for fishing.

ClubDry Casting Sunday Oct. 28th:

 Venue will be Manfield Feilding, Old Race Course Area, entryvia South Street. This is not only a competition but also an opportunity toimprove your casting ability, instruction will be available should you requireit. 
Start 8:45 am. witha Spacky road kill BBQ (one sausie guaranteed to give you an extra 20 metres,Two and you could be dangerous). All welcome.

Any of these events going to be around Wellington soonish?
I can't see myself being a competition caster, but would be great to have a go and get some feedback.

You know deep down, i think you really want to be there O'Neil as you are reading this topic.

Mate, I dont know you from a bar of soap, and ive never gone to any casting competition, so i dont know what goes on, or what has happened behind the scenes in the past, but i do know this, "When the going gets tough the tough get going"!

Mate, step up to the plate and hit the ball out of the park, lifes to short dont sweat the small stuff, I recon you can do it, you are showing some interest, "Unleash the Beast", go and enjoy your hobby and  have fun,

Jock dosent allow any crap to be flung ( unless its in my direction LOL ) Different bunch of people running the show and casting Mark . What happened years ago is past history .

No one is under any pressure to blast out any particular distance . Its a event to help people cast better.

As for gear you have more then me and thats saying something! Hsm afaw all of those a 200+ rods.
