G'day
 
I am having trouble uploading an image onto this site. I am able to browse to it and click the upload button. Not much happens and the okay button remained greyed out. Some sort of user restriction or am I being uncommonly thick about this?

Glen, you need to have 25 posts before the image upload to the server kicks in. Until then you have to host images on a third party site (photobucket.com is a goodie) and cut and past the URL of the image into the image box.
Nobody has ever come up with a great idea after a second bottle of water.

Thanks muchly - i thought it had to be something like that. (The IT guy in me would mutter about poor error handling in the application but that is just being picky Smile ). I guess you will all have to do without some pics of a unusual  fishin yak.....

Capt solution is to post more worthless topics like the majority on (not me of course, everything I say has credibility) here do, this way you will build up the extra post required.

Thanks Tzer!. Stand by while I write a loop that sends Post 1 through 25 with a random subject line Smile. Never mind. Rules have reasons (don't they?). This one just makes it hard to make a contribution to a site that gives me a lot of pleasure and information.

Thanks Bushpig, but there is seldom a free lunch on the internet and I would prefer not to attract more spam and malware that I already do (also I figure if I keep saying inflamtory things like that I will get to 25 posts before the day is out! )Big smile
