The rugby league world cup is about to get under way with Australia taking on England in the early hours of tomorrow morning (1am from memory) and the Kiwis are kicking off there campaign against a solid looking Samoa side at 6.45 Monday morning. We have what I think is the strongest looking kiwi squad ever assembled, It's going to be a fantastic tornament. Here's hoping the boys can bring the cup home again.

The kiwis named team for the game agaist Samoa.

01 Josh Hoffman
02 Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
03 Dean Whare
04 Bryson Goodwin
05 Manu Vatuvei
06 Kieran Foran
07 Shaun Johnson
08 Jared Waerea-Hargreaves
09 Issac Luke
10 Jesse Bromwich
11 Frank Pritchard
12 Sonny Bill Williams
13 Simon Mannering
14 Elijah Taylor
15 Sam Kasiano
16 Sam Moa
17 Frank-Paul Nu'uausala

I liked what I saw from Tomkins. He ran the ball back hard with good foot work, backed up well and I was impressed with his kicking game. Threw a good cut out pass to his winger for their first or second try as well. His signing for the warriors has really strengthened the squad imo. Looks like he'd be a quality 6 as well as a fullback.

Haha. Sonny Blue Williams lol. Call of the year from Vossy. Amazing 2nd 40 from the Samoans, I am worried about the quality of our centers. Manu's in amazing form again.

I've been struggling to get into it as well Stevie. The reffing has been absolute ****e imo. The ref's seem to be constantly favouring the stronger teams and I'm over them sending every decision to the video ref. The Australians aint looking like there gelling that well. After the Ireland game I'm thinking DCE should definately be starting at 7 ahead of Cronk. Oz looked like they were really missing Thurston out there. Lets hope he breaks a leg lolTongue. Fafita is a BEAST! Hopefully we get to see him go up against JWH and Kasiano in the final.

Looking forward to this game v England. I am pretty sure we'll win it, but it will give us the hard hit ut we will need for the final.

Aussie, on the other hand, will go into the final without being tested...
