I'm starting to get a bit frustrated with some of the posts that are accompanied with a pic.
If the photo isn't downsized, the written words become near impossible to read.
Scrolling accross the page, then down, then accross is a bit of a jigsaw for an ol' fella like me.
Wonder if there's anyway the pic's could be sorted automatically to fix this maddening problem?

Thank goodness I'm not the only one.

Grunta, would it be possible to get rid of column of the pics/links on the left and right hand sides to free up more space for message and photos. This will allow for bigger photos but we won't have to scroll across/down/up when the width of the pic is longer than the text. But only implement this solution within each thread space, so that those links are still visible on the forum home page.

I'm sure not many of us actually needs to view/click on the links when we are navigating/reading within a thread.

The suggestion by Uncle for a max image width still stands though.

I was always annoyed by people which did that when I use to use Internet Explorer.

The browser I now use has a 'fit to width' feature which re-formats a page to make it fit into 1 screen so requiring no sideways scrolling. It is not perfect but it is good enough.

Haha Jim, I'm being sternLOL
The only two gripes I have with the site are the wide pic thing & the PM  clearance .
Last night I was doing a bit of sorting & had 67 pm's to work on.
One hit of the "wrong" button & the whole lot went down the gurglerCry
I should know better but that's the third time I've lost the lot.
I sure wish/hope something can be done to sort that.

Hi guys

There is a new version of the software being released in the next week or so. As part of this there is an image resizer that will capture the images that come from other sites plus some new butons etc. Hopefully this should start to sort some of these issues.

It normally takes us 8-10 days from the release date to get these updates installed at our end.

Cheers
Craig
