Found a nice temperature break about 6nm South of the Hook last weekend and a healthy stripey eating saury. It was a double first - first marlin for Dan Given from Balex and a first for the latest NZ Fishing News project boat  - a 745 Extreme Gameking. Water was ~22.6 and it ate a lumo D-shackle.
