Heading out early in the morning before the wind picks to try this casting style, 12-15 foot rods designed to cast light weights 56 grams to 112 grams max- no leader , will start off with using 10 lb line and see how it goes then will try try right down to 4 lb. This is good way to learn to cast light weights for small lures and weighted flys on long rods.
