may someone on here can explain this to me
juvenile fish hang together?we moved 5/6 times today to get away from small fish.we ended up moving to where we started getting reasonable bites but only 1 snapper at 310mm,I would of thought that where there is one decent size fish there would be more as they travel in schools?what are we doing wrong.

this time of year they don't like to have juveniles hanging around,
they will definitely try to hang out with similar sized mates,
might be something to do with stamina, once they start to spawn they will attack each other hence could really hurt younger fish trying to engage with larger adults...
you may start to see bite marks on even the bigger fish around this time of year as an indication of this type of action happening...
find a concentration of large fish should solve your problem pjc...

thats the problem "lethal" finding a concentration of large fish within the in gulf/harbour. just when you think your on to them,either a monster or barley legal,guess we still in winter mode as temp was only 15.1 yesterday and we were in shallows,14/8 meters,north winds so if went further out it would of uncomfortable.
from what i read/seen on here s/bs produce bigger fish so might have to give them another go.
