last week i was playg around with tear drop sinkers  about 5-6oz the breakaway ones, i removed the breakaway wires and drilled the holes slightly bigger then wired a size8 black magic hook on the end  of the teardrop sinker , then i wrapped sinker in tinfoil useing an adhesive spay to bond it to the sinker then i wrapped the sinkler from bottom top with laceing wired as an added xtra to hold tinfoil in place, by this stage it was looking like something from starwars..lol...but the proof was in the pudding we down to fishing at lake ferry this weekend gone  and with a lumps of fresh kahawai  squirted with wharehouse fish burley in a bottle cost $7.50 and it lasted all day just squirted on WOW did the Redcod love that...I got ten to good size  Cod that averged 1.5kg-3.5kg all but 2 were caught on the starwars sinker wrapped in tinfiol ...lol 2 of  them were caught on the upper set of hooks 12 ichs above sinker that i had in place aslo better for casting also, again  it would work well as a kahawai lure just cast and retrive it..what a great afternoons fishing, the sinker  ended up going west! with a waywood cast so mark2 now a work in progress..lol

better fishing all:)
