Ask LJ to delete the thread before it makes it into the google cache. I personally don't object the shooting but all of us can get under fire for this.

watch a movie today about sea shepherd, well sharks called sharkwaters. Its rather interesting, all about the illegal shark finning.

Anyway, they ram a fishing boat and try do a citizen's arrest on it and kidnap it an tow it back to shore, They give up when a local gunboat starts to hunt them down, anyway they get arrested back on land but end up skipping the country. its all rather interesting

it's a must watch movie! seeing how hundreds of million sharks get slaughtered just for superstitious people puts everything into perspective. why is it always that only the smallest parts of the rarest animals are potent in vodoo medicine?

The best berley I have ever used was those little toadstool groper you get up north. Something about the bright red skin really got the snapper going. Oily too

if you want to get rid of a few sharks get yourself one of these:

If you've lost your float to a shark before you can have some poetic justice - just put your line round it's tail LOL

Sea camel, what happened to you harping on about saving things or do you only want people to stop shooting butters so that you can still go out and roll 6?

Jnr. You'll be fine after you've seen a couple.

New NZ record Tiras!

I'm not for saving things  since I'm not staying long enough to enjoy the benefits of stricter fishing regulations Big%20smile I suggested to reduce pressure at some of our closest spots which is a matter of convenience. Don't want to drive 400km on a day to get some fish.

And yes, less for you means more for me Big%20smile
