This is aimed at anglers who're new to mechanical jigging.
 
I see many reels come in for drag upgrades that have been used jigging with the handle arm secured at the innermost hole. The handle arm should be secured at the end hole. This slows down the retrieve rate but is more than compensated for by giving the angler a mechanical advantage for power winding. It is also far more comfortable to jig with and develop a good style.
