Anyone with any ideas on how to get a 18ft Haines Hunter and Trailer up from Christcurch to Auckland , has W.O.F etc. needs to be towed or chucked on the back of a transporter or train ?

Any contacts would be greatly appreciated.

Just Launch at Chch and turn left.  Turn left at the top of the Coromadel and you'll find Auckland.   Wink

Ha ha  ha , good on ya D.A. It has been suggested that Captain Cook got his boat back up this way with out the rail system :) but 18ft is just a bit too small me thinks :)

Had a real good deal from Jeffs with the transport of my Surtees, Tauraunga to Picton. Was a cheaper way than doing it myself. All done for you and not a mark on the boat.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting a trailer from Auckland to Surtees in Whakatane?
Small trailer for a 4.7M boat, warranted and WOF.
Anyone going that way, and interested in getting some $$ for fuel etc?

I'm heading to gisborne on about the 27th Dec if that was any good to you - although I don't know if the yard would be open then?

Thanks Studio1.

I have managed to secure a deal with a small transport company, at a very reasonable price. The larger car  / boat transporter companies either were not interested, or wanted to charge $1000 to move the trailer a very short distance.
