Haven't got a rod to go with the Marquesa reel as yet, I,m thinking I would like a demo rod to try, but don't know of anyone one that does this, also need to go to jigging school to "get it right" Mind you I watched some guys this week that just wound the jig in and hooked up! I do have Marquesa rod with a FN offshore reel on it with catches kingies . The santiago reel is on a 60-100lb puka/game rod and hauls pukas no trouble....very pleased with it. ------------- 404. Here I was thinking when I saw the title "Gold & Silver rewards" and looked at the picture of the reels all you needed was the silver  two stars or gold  three stars by your name and fishing.net.nz will be sending every silver or gold member one ... Wonder what ya get for being a platinum or titanium member.
