I've got a 5 day trip on Double Strike starting Monday and the first few days looks choice...am I deluding myself?

As it happens Roy another team is slipping away on Tagit on Monday for a week as well.
Its been just a week since I got one at 171 KGWink I like our chances

Not looking too bad on Swellmap Roy? Bit of wind late Tues and Weds but will be fine on the coast. Might be a bit lumpy up at the Kings though. Winds look to be getting slightly worse the further north you go.

Yes, will be ok off the coast but not looking good for Kings - need to drive at 90 knots to get to Kings by morning smoko on monday after boarding at 08.00!!Wink

Will think of you as we cruise up the coast with a 10knt southerly helping us along. Will probably be up Whangaroa late Tuesday unless we find action further south. From there we will go wherever we think the fish might be. Just hope that there are a few boats out this weekend to provide some reports.

Will be headed for the kings out of BOI wednesday morning weather permitting. In a blade runner if you make it up there.
 
Crossed paths on your last double strike trip also. Were trolling back along the top coast in the irb at the time.
