New Zealand's best Marlin Tournament is back.
Now held at a new permanent location being Whitianga, we see this as being a ripper come back tournament now and in the years ahead.
Along with some of the original sponsors from previous tournaments, we have a host of new and exciting sponsors that are very generous and very keen to be a part of our tournament.
For the anglers that have fished this you know there is not a dull moment during the tournament and a lot of AWESOME prizes. For those who have not entered previously I guarantee you will walk away wanting to come back the following year.
Sponsors include: Bonze Lures Wild Buck
Epic Charters
Glass Art

Just quietly the best move Bonze could make basing it from Whitianga - especially during that week which is usually pretty hot down here. Looking foward to it and a good old piss up on the last night which just happens to be my birthday chur!
Sure it will be well supported by plenty of people on here

Sounds good but the $1400 entry fee is a bit rich for this scrooge. That and the location doesn't work for my slow boat sadly

DAMM!!! Not alot of thought went into that post.
Whanga Classic is the 14th - 16th Feb, confirmed it over the phone to make sure. So gives you plenty of time to recover and gloat to your mates of taking home a heap of cash.
Its only $800 with an OPTIONAL entry of $600.
Hope this clears a few things up.

This one is to far for me to come mate, good luck with it

Well done Bonze,
Should be another great contest to sort out the men from the boys, and a fantastic location at the right time of the year, to catch all those big Blues on their way down to Waihau Bay for the Nationals, time to dust off the 80W and pay a few bills with our winnings
See you all there then!

Hi guys
Sorry for our lack of reports. Our internet connection didn't play ball.
A big thanks to everyone who came and all the sponsors who mate things possible.
Also a big congratulations to the crew on Game Az for taking out the tournament and becoming the 2013 Bonze Marlin Skins Champions and showing that you don't need a big boat to take it out.
A full report is up here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.383690461728594.82181.278834355547539&type=1#!/bonzelures" rel="nofollow - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.383690461728594.82181.278834355547539&type=1#!/bonzelures
