That's a great capture Ian - congratulations (nice reel too!).
There's more to fishing than catching fish - but catching fish is a big part of it.

Tongue Well done Ian what a fish.  All the playing around with the smaller ones allow you to catch the big ones.  Cheers Billy(murrays mate)

Your head deserves to swell on that One Ian... absolutely tremendous capture. Congratulations!

Also congrats to your team... Look forward to the writing...

Been away for a few days of both fresh and salt with some clients and we managed some great fish, but nothing even remotely in the same league of that one!

Mate that is unbeleivable. Well done on a great fish. Look forward to reading all about it.

I hear Nik was got onto an 11kg model last night. Sounds like the kings have arrived. Maybe I should take the troutbums offer on to head North for christmas.

You're right Matt, the Kingies have arrived! There were good numbers right in the harbor a fortnight ago and then it all went quiet... now they are back.

Had a big ******* busting fish on the surface near us a couple of days ago at Yellow Point but the guy I had fishing just wasn't up to it.... It's a bit crappy here this morning but is meant to clear... might have to take "Outlaw" out there myself this arvo for a look see.

Good work ups in front of Waihi beach most afternoons too with Dolphins and Porpoises working the bait fish....
