Woke up at 5:30am, snuck out of the house, and went and got my fishing gear out of the garage. I carried every thing down to the Omokoroa Jetty and calapsed when i got there, my arms killing.
As i put down my rods, i noticed a nice fat John Dory swimming around the pole.
Before i could be bothered rigging up a softie, i unwraveled my throw net, aimed at the fish and hurled it over the top of it. Yep,
i had trapped it. I continued to draw up the net in order to catch the dory in the netting. I let it flop out onto the deck then killed it.
