Just quietly the best move Bonze could make basing it from Whitianga - especially during that week which is usually pretty hot down here. Looking foward to it and a good old piss up on the last night which just happens to be my birthday Big smileBig smile chur!

Sure it will be well supported by plenty of people on here

Sounds good but the $1400 entry fee is a bit rich for this scrooge. That and the location doesn't work for my slow boat sadly

DAMM!!! Not alot of thought went into that post.Wink

Whanga Classic is the 14th - 16th Feb, confirmed it over the phone to make sure. So gives you plenty of time to recover and gloat to your mates of taking home a heap of cash.

Its only $800 with an OPTIONAL entry of $600.

Hope this clears a few things up.

Well done Bonze,
Should be another great contest to sort out the men from the boys, and a fantastic location at the right time of the year, to catch all those big Blues on their way down to Waihau Bay for the Nationals, time to dust off the 80W and pay a few bills with our winningsWink
See you all there then!

Hey all,

Not to far away from the start date of the tournament,

Hope all your gear is ready to battle the big blues and stripes, and have got big shoulders to raise the big cheque at the end of a successful tournament. ( Along with some MEAN daily prizes )

Going to be a cracker

Remember early bird entries close on the 30th.

Look forward to meeting all of the forum members that are fishing.

Cheers

Mark
